Questions about trading from a phone (Philippines)
Grouped by when they get asked rather than by topic — before anything is installed, during the first weeks of learning the screens, and at the moment something does not look right. Anything tied to a real account belongs to Exness support; everything below is about how the thing works.
Read this part first, because it decides where your question goes. Anything that needs your account in front of someone — a balance, a payment, a verification status — is answered only by Exness support, inside the app or the Exness personal area. Anything that is a question about how a screen behaves is answered below, and usually in one line. This site explains screens; it holds nothing, opens nothing and can see no account. If a question turns out to belong to the first group, the fastest thing you can do with this page is leave it.
Before anything is installed
Which jobs will a small display genuinely not do?
One: holding several things side by side — accounts, instruments, or a long list of conditions. Everything else here fits, one screenful at a time. That single job belongs on a bigger display, and it is worth doing once, in advance.
How do I get the app safely?
Type exness.com yourself and take the download from there. On a small screen a lookalike page and a forwarded file are the two things that genuinely go wrong.
Does anything have to be paid before the app can be used?
No. A demo account needs an email and a password, and Standard names no minimum initial deposit if you later go further.
What documents are needed?
None for a demo. Real trading needs verification — the identity check Exness runs beforehand — and that is a camera step rather than a form.
Is an old phone a problem?
The arithmetic of a trade does not depend on the device. A smaller display just makes the scrolling habits matter more.
How long before I know whether this is for me?
The screens take about an hour. Judging whether you want to risk anything takes weeks of practice — and nothing expires while it does.
While learning the screens
Which screens should I be able to find without hunting?
Four: the account line, the quotes list, the order screen and the money section. Reaching each in two taps is the practical goal of the first week.
How do I know I am on the practice account?
The label on the account line says so. A balance figure never does — a demo can show any amount at all.
Why does the app show two prices for one instrument?
Because buying and selling happen at different prices. The gap between them is what an opening costs.
What decides how much a price movement is worth to me?
The size on the order screen. On a dollar-quoted pair one pip on a full lot is $10; on the smallest cent units it is about ten cents.
Do I have to keep the app open for a trade to run?
No. Positions live with the broker, and the app is a window onto them. That is why a saved exit level matters more than watching.
What is worth writing down while practising?
One line per session: date, instrument, size, where the exit sat, and what surprised you. A phone note is enough.
Should I turn notifications on?
Only ones you have decided the meaning of in advance. An unplanned order started by a banner is the phone deciding, not you.
When something looks wrong
The prices froze. Is that a problem with my account?
Usually a connection. Re-open the screen before acting on any figure read during it — a stalled display shows the past.
A new position immediately shows a small loss. Why?
It opened on the far side of the spread. The market has to move a little before the row reads zero.
The figure drifted overnight without much happening. What was that?
A position kept past the end of the trading day can carry a swap — a small overnight adjustment on the row.
Which clock should I quote when reporting something?
The platform's. Your device may sit an hour or more away from it.
My order does not appear anywhere. What next?
Check the positions tab, then the history tab. A tap that never reached the broker leaves no record; one that did leaves one either way.
Who can actually see my balance?
Exness support, which runs 24/7 in the app and the Exness personal area. Not this site — nothing here sees an account.
Someone offered help with a withdrawal through a chat. Is that real?
No part of moving money happens in messages, and no payment is ever required to receive your own money. Passwords and one-time codes belong to nobody but you.
What should a message about a wrong figure contain?
Both numbers — expected and shown — the screen it was read on, and the platform's hour. The help page sorts which questions go where.
Questions this site does not answer
- What a price will do. Nobody answers that, and any message that claims to is not worth the screen it arrived on.
- Anything requiring your account open. Balances, payments and verification status are visible only to Exness support.
- How much you should risk. That figure is yours — many people lose money when they start trading, and a stranger's number is not a plan.
- Where to send money. Nowhere here: this site is an independent guide and takes no payments at all.
